Of the legal challenges of the 21st century, the most transpires within the triangle of law – society – digitalization. In the constant evolution of societal relations and behavior against the backof digitalization, legal teaching and practice ought to remain responsive and dynamic. This is true for the whole spectrum of private law, from the most archaic sub-disciplines all the way to the newly emerging ones.
Centering around this focal observation, the symposium on Challenges and Opportunities for the Private Law in the 21st Century organized in collaboration of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law and Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church provided a prolific medium for a multifaceted legal discussion in the private law realm. Having been held on June 15-16, 2023 the event brought together a wide number of scholars of Hungary and Türkiye from different sub-disciplines of private law.
